In the "Restrepo," the directors, Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger, show the story of O.P. Restrepo, the men that were stationed there, and the true dangers of the Korangal Valley. Throughout the entire film, you see multiple scenes of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team fighting the insurgents in various areas of the Valley. Many of the scenes in which the men are fighting can be seen below. Another possible argument that is brought in through the film is the level of ignorance from the populous of the United States, and how little they actually know about what happens in the areas where their military is sent. In the interviews you hear testimonials about what they had to go through and how its affect them, including one man saying that he's been on 4 different types of sleeping pills, how they haven't helped him, and how he would prefer to not sleep over sleeping and seeing the images in his head again.
